SABTECH successfully crash tested its High Security Shallow Road Blocker according to PAS68 & IWA14

SABTECH has successfully passed the crash test of its High Security Shallow Road Blocker (RBS3M1000CT) in compliance with international standards PAS68 and IWA14-1 with ‘zero penetration’.

Here the detailed breakdown, on the day of the test:

• Our test was conducted on July 19th, 2023 at 14:08 in Muenster, Germany by CTS GmbH.
• It collided with a truck weighing 7,500 kg impacting our Shallow Road Blocker at a speed of 80 km/h at a 90°degree angle.
• At the time of collision, the truck impacted with a dynamic vehicle penetration of -1.4m according to PAS68, having obtained an excellent value of under 0, it is also commonly referred to as ‘zero penetration’; with one major debris only, falling within 16.2m from the point of instance.
• The vehicle was immediately restrained and immobilized with the cabin tipping over the edge of the Shallow Road Blocker and disconnecting from its main chassis.
